The Proven CHANGE Framework: Your Actionable Roadmap to Crushing Goals

Let’s be real for a second: most people treat their goals like New Year’s resolutions. They start with a burst of excitement on January 1st, and by February 15th, that gym membership is a ghost town and those "business plans" are buried under a pile of laundry.

Why does this happen? It’s not because you lack talent. It’s not because you’re "lazy." It’s because you lack a system.

In my book, CHANGE, I break down the reality that transformation isn't a single event: it’s a framework. If you want to stop spinning your wheels and actually start hitting those milestones, you need a roadmap that covers every angle of your life. That is exactly what the CHANGE Framework is designed to do.

Today, we’re diving deep into how you can use this 6-pillar system to crush your goals and finally become the person you’ve been dreaming of being.

The Foundation of Everything: Communication

Everything starts with how you communicate: not just with the world, but with yourself. If your goal is to build a seven-figure business but your internal dialogue is saying, "I hope I don't screw this up," you’ve already lost.

Mastery and leadership begin with the words you choose. In the CHANGE framework, Communication is the first pillar because it’s the bridge between your thoughts and your reality.

Actionable Transformation Strategy: Audit your self-talk for the next 24 hours. Every time you catch yourself using "low-frequency" language (e.g., "I'll try," "Maybe," "It's hard"), swap it for "high-frequency" executive language (e.g., "I am executing," "I will find a way," "This is a challenge I’m prepared for"). Leadership starts at the mirror.

The Engine of Progress: Habits

You don't rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your systems. This is a core tenant we talk about constantly here at Brady Young Change. If you want to crush a goal, you have to stop focusing on the finish line and start focusing on the daily track.

Habits are the practical strategies for transformation. If your goal is "Education" (our 6th pillar), your habit shouldn't be "read more." It should be "read 10 pages at 6:00 AM while the coffee is brewing."

Actionable Transformation Strategy: Use the "Habit Stacking" method. Identify a current habit you do every day (like brushing your teeth) and stack a new, goal-oriented habit immediately after it. Want to improve your network? Send one "thank you" or "connection" DM immediately after you check your morning emails.

The Filter of Success: Attitude

Your attitude is the lens through which you see every obstacle. If that lens is dirty, the most beautiful opportunity will look like a mess.

In my bestselling book Business Decision Making, I discuss how mindset shifts are the primary driver of high-level outcomes. A CEO doesn't look at a market crash as the end; they look at it as a restructuring opportunity. You need that same perspective shift for your personal goals.

Actionable Transformation Strategy: Practice "Reframing." When a goal hits a roadblock, don't ask "Why is this happening to me?" Ask "What is this teaching me that I need to know for the next level?" This shift from victim to student is the hallmark of the CHANGE framework.

The Power of Proximity: Network

You’ve heard it a thousand times: "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." But are you actually auditing that inner circle?

If you’re trying to crush high-level goals but your "Network" consists of people who complain about their jobs and spend their weekends numbing out, you are fighting an uphill battle. Building a high-performer inner circle is a requirement, not a suggestion.

Actionable Transformation Strategy: Identify one person who is currently where you want to be. Don't ask to "pick their brain." Instead, offer value. Share an article relevant to their industry, or offer a specific skill you have. Proximity is earned through value, not just proximity itself.

The Roadmap Itself: Goals

Now we’re at the heart of the framework. Goals are the destination, but within the CHANGE system, they must be actionable. We don’t just "set" goals; we engineer them.

A goal without a deadline and a "why" is just a wish. To crush your goals, they must be broken down into micro-wins. If your goal is to lose 50 pounds, that’s too big for your brain to process daily. Your goal for today is to drink a gallon of water and hit 10,000 steps.

Actionable Transformation Strategy: Reverse engineer your 12-month goal. Work backward to what you need to do this month, this week, and today. If your daily actions don't align with your 12-month vision, you don't have a goal: you have a fantasy.

The Fuel for Growth: Education

The world moves fast. If you aren't learning, you’re dying. Continuous learning and research-backed methods are what separate the "lucky" from the consistently successful.

In the CHANGE framework, Education isn't just about school; it's about being a student of your craft. Whether it's listening to our latest podcast episodes or reading Business Decision Making, you must stay sharp.

Actionable Transformation Strategy: Dedicate 30 minutes a day to "Deep Learning." This isn't scrolling through social media tips. This is reading a book, taking a course, or studying a case study in your specific field. Knowledge is the only asset that doesn't depreciate.

Integrating the Framework into Your Daily Life

So, how do you put this all together?

The CHANGE framework: Communication, Habits, Attitude, Network, Goals, Education: is a wheel. If one spoke is broken, the whole ride is bumpy.

When people ask me how I managed to build Brady Young Change and write a #1 bestseller, they expect a "secret" hack. The secret is the framework. It’s making sure my Communication is clear, my Habits are disciplined, my Attitude is resilient, my Network is elite, my Goals are mapped out, and my Education is never-ending.

If you’re feeling stuck, look at these six pillars. Which one are you neglecting? Usually, the one you’re avoiding is the one that holds the key to your next breakthrough.

Final Thoughts: The Time to Execute is Now

Monday morning is the best time to audit your roadmap. You have a fresh week ahead of you to apply the CHANGE framework.

Don't try to overhaul all six pillars in one day. Pick one. Maybe this week you focus entirely on your Network: reaching out to mentors and cleaning up your circle. Maybe next week is all about Habits.

Success isn't about being perfect; it's about being intentional. If you want more insights into how to make high-level choices that stick, grab a copy of Business Decision Making. It’s the playbook for anyone tired of playing small.

Crushing your goals isn't a matter of "if": it's a matter of "how." And now, you have the roadmap.

Go out there and make it happen.
